Rev. Pronk and Brantford, Ontario Commemorate
On November 13 it was 35 years ago that pastor Neil Pronk was ordained as minister of the gospel. His first congregation was Aldergrove, B.C., where he served from 1968 to 1973. After this followed Grand Rapids (1973), St. Thomas (1987) and Brantford where he is pastor since October 1994. Pastor Pronk has served our denomination in many ways. From 1970 to 2002 he served as radio pastor of the weekly program, The Banner of Truth Radio Broadcast. He has his name on several publications, one of them, a book of sermons on the Canons of Dort that was well received in and outside our denomination. He has also lectured at conferences and taught seminary courses. We congratulate him and his wife Ricky on this joyful occasion, and wish them many more years in the service of our gracious Lord.

The congregation of Brantford celebrated this milestone on Friday, November 21st with a congregational evening that was combined with the commemoration of the 10th anniversary of its institution. During this time, the Brantford church has grown to the point that a daughter church is being planned. May the Lord bless these efforts and may outward growth be accompanied by spiritual growth.

Pompton Plains, N.J.
We also congratulate the Pompton Plains congregation whch recently moved into its new sanctuary. The congregation has been worshipping in its new building since November 2000, but during these three years it has been meeting for that purpose in the newly constructed fellowship hall. The official dedication took place at a worship service on Thursday, November 27, which is Thanksgiving Day in the U.S. The Friday following, an open house with an informal program, featuring a power point presentation, was held. May the Word of God be faithfully preached for many years to come at this new location!
