God's Word tells us that from eternity ChristÕs Òdelights were with the sons of men" (Prov.8:31). Christ rejoiced in the redemption and salvation of man. We see this in the promises given in the Old Testament and in the fulfillment of these promises: JesusÕ birth, His life on earth, His death, His resurrection and the intercession for His people.

This is the message of the Bible; this is the message, which the Christian Church throughout all the earth today proclaims and may proclaim until He comes again. In the following reports we may again see that the Lord continues to build His Church.

You will find some vignettes of experiences on the mission field and other outreach activities in which our churches are involved. It should be noted that pastor Herfst has a heavy schedule and is looking forward to the coming of the Kattenburgs. He reports that the translation work is progressing and Genesis is now at the printer. Part of Proverbs is being checked.

Let us continue to pray for our missionaries, their families, their work and for all who are faithful in proclaiming the Gospel. Pray the Lord of the harvest for labourers.
