The following books were received for reviewing. Without exception, they will enrich and deepen the understanding of young and old of our common Reformed heritage (English and Continental). How about ordering them for your summer reading or check if your church library carries them?

Not everyone will open a history book or read an article on church history to become more informed about the Òheroes of the Christian faith.Ó But an interesting historical fiction book can often motivate us to become more intimately acquainted with our Christian heritage. Inheritance Publications is offering us a valuable service by publishing well-written and interestingly told stories to keep our common Reformed Christian heritage alive.

CHRISTIAN FOCUS PUBLICATIONS. Address: Geanies House, Fearn, Tain Ross-Shire, IV20 1TW, Scotland, UK. Web site: www.christianfocus.com

An invitation was received to review books from Christian Focus Publications in Scotland, a publisher that aims to distribute books worldwide. Distributors are located in countries that include the U.S.A. and Canada (Paris, Ontario). However, their books cannot be purchased directly from the distributors, but must be obtained through Christian bookstores. Consequently, these publications are hard to find because usually Christian bookstores will stock only books they believe that will sell locally. If requested, however, bookstores will order any books that are available from distributors. There also are a number of non-profit book distributors that make these and other selected books available. Therefore, I draw your attention to some of the books in print by Christian Focus Publications.

With the pervasive immorality of our culture that inevitably impacts family life, todayÕs Christian parents are also blessed with an abundance of help to counteract these influences. Recently, quite a number of family devotion books from a conservative Reformed world and life view have been published. The following are some of the most helpful ones that I have come across recently.
