From the Mission's Treasurer

Written by Peter Luth
The year 2002 is now history. For the treasurer it was a tough year. Money seemed to be hard to come by, but thankfully, during the last two months, many congregations pulled out all the stops and, as you can see, the income almost matched expenses. Thanks to Home Missions, who loaned US dollars to be exchanged for Canbucks via the Foreign Mission, we were able to meet all our funding obligations.

For the current year it appears that we will be able to stay below the projected 2003 budget. Of interest for the new year is the possibility of building a chapel in another aldea for the local people to have services in their own community. May God richly bless the work that is being done in Cubulco.
