In this issue we are giving you an update on the transition which will take place on the mission field, D.V. It is with thankfulness to our God, Who has again provided at the right time, that we may inform you that Rev. Herfst has accepted a call from the home mission station at Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

In this issue you also have the opportunity to become better acquainted with pastor Everts, who recently spent some time in Canada and was installed as missionary by the calling church of Vineland. Included is a short biography of pastor and Mrs. Everts, so that we may support him and his family with more understanding while they prepare for future work in Guatemala. There also is a Treasurer's Report, a newsletter from John and Connie Otten, and an autobiography of Nico and Lia Kattenburg.

At the welcome evening of the Vineland congregation for the Everts, it was mentioned that we cannot all be missionaries, but we may have men and women who are sent as ambassadors of God; therefore they are also ambassadors on our behalf. Let us therefore support them in our prayers as well as financially, for the furtherance of the kingdom of God and the glory of His Name.
