In this issue we may report on ongoing mission activities among the Achi Indians in Cubulco, Guatemala. Two delegates of the Mission Committee visited the field and give their report. As well, the annual radio ministry report gives encouraging responses.

When we read these reports it reminds us of the words of the Lord Jesus "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel" (Mark 16:15). The message to preach and teach is a work done, not in our own power or strength, for Jesus says, "without me you can do nothing." But when the Lord commissions His disciples to go into the world, He adds a promise, for He says: "And lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world." He spoke these words to His disciples, to His Church, to those who labour in His kingdom, and to those who are at the forefront of mission work, who experience the heat and the cold. "I am with you alway" is a great comfort for all; therefore we may say with the apostle Paul, "If God be for us who can be against us?"

We are not all called to be radio preachers or missionaries, but we are called to pray and intercede for those who labour (Col.4:2-4 ), that the Lord "would open a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ." Let us continue to support this work with our prayers and gifts to the furtherance of God's kingdom.
