German Churches Clarify Policies on Homosexuals

Written by Rev. H.A. Bergsma
The German Protestant Church Federation has approved a policy toward homosexuals that will allow the blessing of homosexual couples. The report, released on March 14, said homosexual couples who seek a blessing from the church should not be turned away. These, however, will not take place in worship services. "It is not the homosexual partnership as a form of living together that is being blessed, but rather people ... who either live alone or in an ethically responsible homosexual partnership," the report said. (From REC News Exchange)

The inspired prophet Isaiah already warned for this kind of thing when he announces in chapter 5, verse 20, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil."
