Francophone African Churches Create Reformed Alliance

Written by Rev. H.A. Bergsma
Several newer French speaking Reformed churches have formed an African Reformed Alliance. The members are all known as Reformed Confessing churches and are from Benin, Burundi, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Togo and Zaire. These churches were formed or nurtured by the French radio ministry of the Christian Reformed ChurchÕs Back to God Hour.(From REC News Exchange)

It is welcome news to hear that Reformed theology is having inroads among French speaking people. Even in CanadaÕs Quebec, Reformed churches are formed or in the process of being formed, and deserve our prayerful attention. A good example of Reformed inroads made among French speaking people is that of LÕEglise Reformee Du Quebec, 5377, Marechal-Joffre, Charny, Quebec.
